Just left of the dam looking east, over this hill (Veezey Hill) is the Maine border.
These rapids are just below the Pontook Dam and about 3.5 miles south of the Lodge. During the summer on weekend the water is being released at the dam and North Woods Rafting comes right by here on their trips.
Some great fly-fishing in here as well, we the water not moving so fast
